hi george/ mark. the questions asked at the time may be going through our committees, therefor i am unable to comment, some questions are just plain stupid and do not deserve an answer, some questions do though and i try to answer them as best i can, you may not like the answer though,to those of you that know me, i say you must put up with my yorkshire style of doing things, some may say blunt, to those that do not know me ,ask away about all things fishing but not club business on a open forum .stan..

ffs guys whats with you all? Bickering like little boys.
Point 1.. This is supposed to be a "About website" Threaded topic. If there are no moderators on this forum to move edit posts etc then appoint some?...If there are some, then i think your not doing your job correctly.
Point 2. I think if most of you read the forums regular, or indeed post in the right areas then you will see that none of these posts are either Constructive, Nor have any NEW content. Going over the same old ground again, and again, and again wont solve anything.
I can understand peoples angst on wanting answers to their questions on matters of Club issues etc, and rightly so.But, saying this it isnt helping posting on the same drivvle time and time again is it??
Possible remedy for this..Well, post in the correct Topic and area for 1 will help a lot. People can then See the answer to a question that was already posted weeks ago in the right spot and wont have to ask it again. If the answer isnt forthcoming then Wait a while. If you feel so strongly about a situation, or believe you cant wait for the answer on the forum, then contact the governing body direct?
I moderate many forums on many subjects from gaming through fishing, to commerce, i se this all the time, and believe me, all this bickering only leads to generating BAD KARMA for everyone.
How bout it guys huh?

If you are a moderator on so many sites then I am surprised that your attitude to spelling, grammar and punctuation is so cavalier. geoff

genreaper, Moving posts to different threads causes confusion and can be misleading, though i accept some posts are irrelevant to the thread i think members put two and two together and carry on! I intentionally try to keep the site gritty, and unlike lots of other forums don't censor what I don't like "whats the point of an open forum if you have to please the moderator first" if club officials don't like what they read then "tuff" but the same goes to members! Free speach should be top of our list and I would hate to see this forum turn into some of the other fluffy pap filled with yes men posters. Obviously legal and financial dealings of the club should not be open to non members and the public as they could be used against us, all figures are made available after our agm. I hate any form of censorship and other than removing the porn and graphic images that appear usually in the early hours from abroad, I dont think its the moderators job to influence peoples posting or opinions. about club buisness,do not expect a answer.stan. So that means members can't ask a question about club business (even though club business affects every single member)because they wont get an answer? That suggests that you have something to hide and no I'm not suggesting that you do, but members are entitled to ask about club business and to receive an answer due to the fact that it's members money that funds the club.

I think though Mark Stan is trying to say this is an open forum, whihc means that anyone, member or not can have a look in at what wouldn't be their business. Maybe I am wrong, but that is just what I think

Hi George It's quiet at the moment but i will soon be putting the AGM agenda on the site and that may wake some members up, even if they have no intentions of attending the meeting.

Maybe your right George, sometimes i find it hard to chill, i take this job very seriously and trying to please everyone is impossible. Some of the uninformed comments are very frustrating at times when members would rather believe rummors than the facts as given by myself and collegues, we try to inform as much as possible and will continue to do so in the future.
Regards
Graham
