It's a joke because you members out there objected to the plans, and rightly so, you forced changes to plans, you forced people to think again and hopefully you should force the right result of having the plans refused.

'Seeing as no other society official comes on this site it is left to me to say thank you to all concerned in the development of this thread' Graham are you still an official with Leeds Amalgamation? Your posts suggest you don't agree with what is happening so I assume you have left the club as I have done until these one eyed leaders of the club sling their hook - oops! am I sitting on the fence again ?

Hi Geoff
I'm still very much an official of the club, as my current workload will testify.
I offered my resignation as a trustee to allow me to speak out against the Topcliffe hydro scheme which I considered the correct thing to do as I have been against it from day one, this was refused by my fellow trustees but never the less I will speak against it
Regards Graham

Jimmy what you would have is a club that has run it's course and needs to be changed - because unless these guys are going to live forever what will happen is guys like you rushy and eddie are the future of the club - there will be a club left - and you could be a leader of it. The matchman has had his day. When was the last time a Leeds match got 100 pegs books on the river. Now they are recoiling onto smaller and smaller and muddier and muddier overstocked puddles and think that is an achievement - give over!!

Dont think graham should resign, only one with a bit of common about him,and i hope the river matches continue, gets river fished, baited up,and some nice pegs made ,bit of a pain if theres a match on where you want to fish but people via the forum trying to sort that as well

On this jgpark is the only official who actually makes/takes time to respond to and soothe the feelings of us ungrateful So-and So's ranting about things that won't matter a week on Tuesday....... Sorry, got sucked in. I have now realised this is a Thread about Hydro Topcliffe, not get at the Committee....

i tried to open those links and came up with a server error notice, is there any chance that you could give us the gist of it or is it the same as their previous objection. Thanks
