Leave knotsford alone.....its a old water that has developed a natural balance over many years...These few last gems are becoming very hard to find amongst all the ten a penny big carp waters...syndicate or expensive day/night ticket..The committee have imo already ruined a lovely old pit witch was supposed to have a poor echo system or something like that but with pike to 30lb with lots of backup fish at the top of the food pyramid it was obviously a thriving natural environment....don't fix what don't need fixing....and if u are going to fix it put a couple of thousand pasty carp in obviously

P's no pike to 30lb no more in the water I meant neither but plenty of smallish carp and a few jacks..well that's my conclusion from late winter to mid spring this year anyway

You need to give yourself a chance ! no way can you possibly assess a waters' potential after only fishing it for a few months!!

Haha you need to give yourself a chance before judging a new forum member who's had a leed's book for the last fifteen years that's what I'm baseing my final conclusion on this particular water(not knotsford) prity obvious wich water it is (I try to never mention exact waters on open forums especially when it comes to pike) I'm a little la cosa nostra in that respect....any how wind your neck in and stop jumping to conclusions....
