hi digger, long rod ,float, down the middle, ball it on the pole line 13mto 16m,where the bottom is flat, the a bomb over both if it drys up,thats if its a roach day on a normal river which i think it should be,6gm float for the middle,4gm lollypop for holding still then a 2gm for running through over lose feed on the pole, small bomb or swan shot link on a wand, fish this below your catching area as the fish usually drop down your swim, aim for 70 to 100 fish ,this will give you 6to8 lbs, there are a lot of small pike at the moment, these count on club matches so have a go if you get piked, pike dont count on leeds opens.stan..

hi digger thats 252,251 has a tree in it 5 yds out from the bank that we cannot reach,so the peg is over grown, took some branches out of them today to make it better though, there was a little match on today, the lad on 257 had 3 bream, good ones he said so he would have won the match,we started on 236 and cleared all the pegs that needed it down to the fence, still some to do down to the bottom, will have to go another day to do them,if more people had turned up we could have finished it today, maybe some of you could help next time,stan..
