SATURDAY 16th MAY 2015 Hi all, We are planning a working party at Skip Bridge on the above date to undertake two tasks 1. Complete the access and parking area to Hammerton Mill Bottom ( accessed via Skip Bridge) which will entail laying screed down under the bridge to enable cars to be driven under and parked adjacent to the river. Establish a car parking area. 2. Undertake the bank clearance and peg establishment as per last years very successful event. Now we know the length I propose we aim to go only as far up as the outflow peg. As those that attended last year will vouch, it was a great day out and a chance to get to know fellow forum members, swap, fishy tales, tactics and secrets . . . Oh and take the mickey as much as possible Hopefully we can get get a good turnout and have another good day out as well as vastly improving this fantastic stretch of water. Add your name if you can help us out All the best Rushy VOLUNTEERS TO DATE Rushy Eddie Patter dale Mick Nige Jeremy two strimmers and the lads Pete Cabbo Andy P Keith Smiley Mark P Pailyboy

Hard to know what days (or where, or if at all) I'll be working in May but I'm well up for this, and really look forward to it, if I'm not working.

Rushy Is this where it's meant to be ? or are you trying to attract the match fraternity ? Put me down - or rather include me in, I'm not ready to go yet - a few more fish to catch before that happens ! Cheers Andy

Count me in Dave, can get hold of a strimmer possibly two will try and drag my sons along to help as well. I can get hold of plenty of timber (pallet wood) 600mm long that could be used for supporting steps down banking and some for stakes to hold in place. Would also qoute many hands make light work. Cheers Jeremy.

Hi Dave
Count me in
Can also bring a strimmer, do we need anything else that runs on petrol?? Or shall I just throw the entire contents of my shed into the back of the car?

A strimmer would be great bud. No other petrol things required. Loppers , spade just about covers everything. More definitive details to follow nearer the date
