right guys thought I`d have a walk today to pre-bait a coupe of swims, knowing it wouldn't be until after dinner before I would get out on June the 16th for 1 thing or another I decided to make it somewhere close. now first of all horse's for course`s, no I`m not at Leeds Knotford
so the choice of river was the Nidd railway top skipbridge, also Rushy text me to take some piccys to see how the work had gone.
I was first approached by about 20 horse`s in the field ho dear now to face my fears not very keen on horse`s.
but to my surprise they didn't even look at me, wiped the sweat of my forehead
so under the bridge and onto the river bank
stile still standing
more to come only aloud 3 pitchers

now onto a few swims while I get my breath back
ushy I was in my element now I know while you love the Nidd so much why did I not come back to Leeds sooner,
the banks, water level and flow was just perfect sat there and thought ot June the 16th with rod in hand lol Attachments:

Wish I had warning you were going, left the cup from my flask on top of the first fence post to the left of the style as you are looking at it. You could have picked it up for me and dropped it off!lol. Looks good so far johnboy.

on the way back followed the river back down all the way passed willstrop farm on the other side down towards the railway bridge that goes over the river, just before the bridge there where so many nice swims but couldn't even get over the fence nether mind the river
may have to make my own swims some day when fishing down there
ho and by the way had this 4 legged friend followed me all round the field, my fear of horse`s are now over
when I got back to the car met the owner of the field, was wanting to know when the work would be starting on the car park. asked me if I new the person in charge didn't know if he meant someone from the Leeds club or who was doing the work so I said no I don't know.
well there you go Rushy all looking good now you stick ta wharf and keep of my swims well for now at least.
good work lads pack on the back to you all, next time can we have a go near the railway bridge it self cant even walk under it at the moment.
