Yup a great day out . . we will have to look for some more unloved Leeds waters and have another outing The organisation is made a lot easier with such a good bunch of willing and able volunteers who very generously supplied not only their time but also personal equipment. A special thanks to our new member Paulyboy who not only made a 120 mile round trip to join us, but kindly provided the treated posts and it would appear Corned Beef Pasties which Cabbo ate before the rest of us got chance ANDY P THE 2015 STRIMINATOR TAKING A BREATHER PETE - CABB0 AND PAUL GET STUCK IN WHILE JEREMY SUPERVISES ME TAKING CARE OF MY GOOD LUG WITH MY EAR DEFENDER NIGE PUTTING 200 % EFFORT IN TO MAKE UP FOR BEING 50% LATE KEITH SMILEY - PAUL AND PATTERDALE MICK SORT OUT A PIKE PEG LOOKS LIKE MICK COULD HAVE BROKEN HIS SPADE THERE HES HAD THE SAME SPADE ALL HIS LIFE . . . Nice to meet everyone, bacon sarnie, a morning strimming, then to the pub for a pint and a bite to eat with everyone sat in the sunshine and a bit of banter, very enjoyable. Then one or two of us off to Moor Monkton pools for an evening session fishing, first time I've been, but Leeds have acquired a cracking venue there, fished peg 49 on the match pool, 33 carp to 8/9lb ish and a couple of tench, must have had about 100lb in weight all together! Now if I can just get those grass stains out of my jeans, will have been a perfect day. I'll say it again nice to have met everyone and well done giving up your time and effort and making a lovely venue accessible for all! Eddie. well done on the fishing mate might have another go on that match lake I enjoyed the 3 hour pity I at to go early.

Just going to add my little bit...
Great video Dave, didn't even know you had done it ( In a world of my own strimming)
A big thanks also for organising the day and to all the lads that turned up and gave their time and equipment...As Mick said it looked a huge task but we cracked on and still made it to the pub.
A big thanks also to my son Mark (who isn't a member) but still turned up and said he really enjoyed the day.
I'm looking forward to fishing this stretch this year, and I also know now Rushy's favourite peg (which will be kept secret)
Thanks again for the nomination of Strimminator 2015...Don't I get a trophy for that??
Looking forward to the next one be it match or working party...
Regards
Andy

Hi cabbo
Spoke with frim last night and the work under the bridge is being held up due to the wet weather and will not be done until we can drive a 20 ton load across the field without any possibility of getting bogged down
Regards Graham

I spoke to frim at the delegates meeting last Thursday about the car park and he asked if we could get a few volunteers from the forum to help with the work, when the time comes. Might be short notice, anyone fancy spreading 20 tonnes of scalpings! Eddie.

So I've heard Yes, I heard that too when I read grahams post lol, that's why I said when the time comes in my post. Must have been a bit unclear? Or maybe my post wasn't read properly lol. Or maybe graham wants to do the job himself, I've heard he hasn't much to do at the moment! Who knows?
